  • Students in Kinder will be able to check out 1 book, 1st can check out up to 3 books, and 2nd -5th can check out  up to 5 books. Take care of the library books as they are available for all students. Beware of having liquids around the books that can damage pages or cover. 

  • The Mission of the Harlingen CISD Library Services Department is to ensure that students and staff have access to a broad range of materials, whether it be print or electronic, for pleasure reading & information needs. As well, Library Services assists students and staff in becoming ethical and effective users of information, resources, and ideas that will enable them to be lifelong learners. 

  • Harlingen CISD will offer a multifaceted, digitally rich learning environment to create equitable and relevant opportunities for students to develop into collaboratively creative lifelong learners. This will provide our students with the critical thinking skills to become college ready citizens that are poised for global success.
